There are detailed maps to show the location of the castles and shows the number increased over the centuries. Each listed Castle has a brief description and a number of photographs. The website also provides a brief history of castle building over the last two thousand years.

South Wales featured castles include Caerphilly, Laugharne, Carew, Llansteffan, Cardiff, Llawhaden, Carreg Cennen, Manorbier, Castell Coch, Pembroke, Chepstow Castle, Penhow, Dinefwr, Raglan, Dryslwyn, Skenfrith, Grosmont, Weobley, Kidwelly and White Castle. Crynodeb Bread of Heaven accompanies the BBC television series 'Bread of Heavan' which is a history of Christianity in Wales from Pre-Christian Wales to today's multicultural Wales.
