Iron Age Celts BBC Wales.

This site is about the Iron Age Celts who lived in Western Europe from about the 5th century BC to the first century AD - the early Celts. The site is for use both at school and at home and is aimed primarily at KS2 children (aged 7 - 11), their teachers and their parents. The emphasis is on facilitating experiential learning to help children enter the world of the Iron Age Celts at their level of understanding, in line with the National Curriculum.
The site includes many kinds of activities to help children learn about The Celts, including games, stories and a fact file.

This is the website of the education service at the National Library of Wales, and is intended for teachers, children and young people. It is for those who wish to organise a visit to the library and for those who are looking for teaching resources with a Welsh dimension, and is a good general overview of the library's work. The website also provides an entry point to the library's digitised material under three headings - theme, period or area - and provides support on accessing the library's catalogue. They also offer sheets on teaching ideas, language work and poetry writing. The puzzle section is a way to learn about chronology, what is a book and of famous Welsh people. It is a great teaching resource for the Curriculum Cymreig and for art, geography, history, religious work and literature.

This is the Education and Learning section of the National Museums and Galleries of Wales. The site has specific sections with learning material for schools and colleges, kids and families, adult learning and community projects. For schools and colleges, there is a gateway to a wide range of learning material covering all key stage levels from all seven museums in Wales. The Kids, Family and Adult Education section provides a calender of events of fun activities for families at each site. There is also access to some of the museum's other educational projects such as On Common Ground (dedicated to community learning), Scan (environmental project) and Llwybrau Llafar (for Welsh learners).
