Bio-power is about the provision of real alternatives to the use of fossil fuels. By 'real' they mean bio-fuels that can be used in burners or engines without significant alteration, and also bio-fuels that cost the same as or slightly less that their fossil fuel equivalent. The Bio-power concept and the technology used was developed in North Wales and are now setting up nearly 200 local Agencies throughout the UK.
