Title National Slate Museum National Slate Museum.
Summary The Welsh Slate Museum is located in the old Victorian workshops at Dinorwig quarry in Llanberis. Having been recently re-launched following a £1.6 million lottery grant, the museum now offers amongst other things: the largest working waterwheel in Britain, slate splitting demonstrations by craftsmen and a multi-media 3D display presenting the life and work of the quarrymen.
