Title EDINA : Land, Life & Leisure Library and Information Services.
Summary Land, Life & Leisure is a bibliographic database of land-based literature whose focus is both practical and scholarly. The subjects covered by Land, Life & Leisure include current practice and developments in temperate agriculture and all rural topics, alternative enterprises, conservation, equine enterprises, estate management, forestry, horticulture, organic husbandry, rural planning, recreation and tourism, and environmental issues. References date back to January 1990, and include scanning a whole range of information including journals, books, press releases, tapes, conference reports, videos and pamphlets. The Land, Life & Leisure data is supplied by the University of Wales Aberystwyth with contributions from the Royal Agricultural, Harper Adams University, Kingston, Maurward, Myerscough and Pershore Colleges. The webiste also provides information about the database and how to access it, as well as details of the Terms of Use.

Summary LUPG aims to advise on policy matters of common concern related to agriculture, woodlands and other rural land uses. Its website provides a vision statment and a cronicle of projects as well as contacting details and links to other related websites. The Land Use Policy Group (LUPG) comprises these UK statutory conservation, countryside and environment agencies such as the Countryside Council for Wales. It seeks to improve understanding of the pros and cons of policy mechanisms related to land use, particularly farming and forestry; to develop a common view of desirable reforms to existing policies; and to promote these views.
