Axis is a not-for-profit organisation core funded by Arts Council of England and the Arts Council of Wales. It is possible to search through artwork type: collage, basketry, calligraphy/lettering, fashion/clothing, environmental art, fibre art, glass, graphics, interior design, jewellery, metalwork, model making, mosiac, mural, painting, photograph, toy making, sculpture, theatre design and woodwork. This is the website for The Campaign for Drawing, which will holds art and drawing events for all ages throughout Britain. The Campaign for Drawing was initiated in 2000 by The Guild of St George, a small charity founded by the Victorian artist and writer, John Ruskin, who saw drawing as the foundation of visual thought. The website provides information about its many events, with pictures and details of past events. Information about their heritage programme and their education programme, which works with schools and other organisations to show how drawing can support teaching and learning across the curriculum, is also provided. Details of how to take part, how to register and contact details are also available.

It is for those who wish to organise a visit to the library and for those who are looking for teaching resources with a Welsh dimension, and is a good general overview of the library's work. The website also provides an entry point to the library's digitised material under three headings - theme, period or area - and provides support on accessing the library's catalogue. They also offer sheets on teaching ideas, language work and poetry writing. The puzzle section is a way to learn about chronology, what is a book and of famous Welsh people. It is a great teaching resource for the Curriculum Cymreig and for art, geography, history, religious work and literature.
